Jessica Coleman has been with
Nixon & Associates nearly 8 years, and is a Vice President whose primary
focus rests on Pipeline Public Awareness Programs. For many years, Jessica has
been instrumental in the development of numerous vehicles to facilitate
electronic communication with emergency responders, namely newsletters, and has
also served as Public Awareness program Coordinator for one of the largest
natural gas companies in the country.
Facilitating her interest in
effective outreach with emergency responders, Jessica previously conducted a
widespread survey of the emergency response community, and was tasked by INGAA
with writing a white paper on industry best practices of communicating with
emergency responders. She also provides logistical, administrative and project
management support on various client projects.
Prior to joining Nixon &
Associates full-time, Jessica completed two internships with Nixon &
Associates in 2005 and 2006, and another internship in the summer of 2007
working for Cyera Strategies, a public affairs and community relations firm in
Dallas. While at Cyera, she completed a research project looking at constituent
communication strategies used by elected public officials in off-election years
that resulted in a white paper identifying constituent communication best
practices. Jessica holds a B.S. degree in Communication from Radford
University.
